Dance Club is a creative, fun way to join a part of a community of talented students who are learning to build their skills and express their way of dance. The student leaders will be teaching the students all kinds of styles and ways of movement. Practices are at lunchtime and the leaders aim to provide a safe and friendly dance environment to develop SHC’s students' skills and techniques, helping you to build your self-confidence, teamwork, and perseverance – skills which are needed in everyday life! Throughout the year, students have opportunities to perform and compete at events such as Feast Day, this year’s school musical, as well as competitions including NZCAF (via audition within Dance Club) and Dance NZ MADE, which is open to all members across different genres. 

Whether you’re an experienced dancer or have never danced before, Dance Club has something for everyone, and we can’t wait to see you there!
