About FOOTBALL (Term 2 and 3) 2026 $90

Football: We have a strong football focus at Sacred Heart.
We cater for all abilities from beginner to advanced players.
Football is played in Terms 2 and 3
- Game Day: 1st XI, 2nd XI and Junior A: Wednesdays, starting 6 May 2026
- Game Day: Development Team (9 a side): Tuesdays, starting 5 May 2026
- Times: from 4.00pm
- Venue(s): games played at various venues across the Hutt Valley for all teams except the Premier and Junior CSW Grades, which are played around the Wellington Region
- Trainings times: Mondays after school (TBC)
- Uniform: Shirt and shorts provided; students to provide their own red socks, shin pads (compulsory) and football boots.
- Ability: Novice to experienced players
- Fee: $90
- 1st Team Levy: Any student who is selected to play in the 1st XI Football Team will be charged a levy of $45 (over and above the registration fee) to cover the additional costs charged by CSW for the Premier Grades. This will be charged after selection.
Trial Dates: These dates are tentative and will be confirmed (Venues to be confirmed):
Junior Trial 1 (year 9 & 10): Monday 9 March 6.30pm - 7.00pm
Junior Trial 2 (Year 9 & 10): Monday 16 March 6.30pm - 7.00pm
Senior Trial 1 (Year 11, 12 & 13): Monday 9 March 7.30pm - 8.30pm
Senior Trial 2 (Year 11. 12 & 13): Monday 16 March 7.30pm - 8.30pm
NOTE: Appropriate school behaviour and attendance standards are a requirement for a student to participate in extra-curricular activities.

Commitment and Communication
When you join a sports team, you must be fully committed to the team and attend all trainings and games. You are expected to tell your coach/manager if you are unable to attend a session.
