About NETBALL (Term 2 and 3) 2026 $99

We have a very large netball programme at Sacred Heart, with over 200 students playing each year in over 20 teams across a number of grades. We cater for all abilities.
- Game Day: Senior A Team: Monday evenings at St Oran's College (starts 27 April) and Saturday mornings at Walter Nash (starts 2 May)
- Game Day: All other teams: Saturdays at Taita Courts and Taita College, starting 3 May
- Uniform: SHC netball dress (students to buy their own from NZ uniforms). White ankle socks and sneakers. The school has a limited number of dresses available on loan, please ask if you need to borrow one.
- Ability: Novice to experienced players

Senior A: The Senior A team will also play in the Hutt Valley Club Competition on a Saturday at Walter Nash. Students in this team pay an additional fee of $140. This will be charged after selection.

NOTE: Further trials may be held and if needed players will be advised. For Junior trials students may be grouped and not need to attend all trials; this will be advised once the first trial is completed.

Netball Umpiring: If you wish to sign up as a netball umpire, please do so on the "Student Officials" Registration page. There will be a Netball Umpire training day (Date/Time TBC)
NOTE: Appropriate school behaviour and attendance standards are a requirement for a student to participate in extra-curricular activities.

Commitment and Communication
When you join a sports team, you must be fully committed to the team and attend all trainings and games. You are expected to tell your coach/manager if you are unable to attend a session.
