Volleyball is strong at Sacred Heart. The top Junior and Senior teams attend local and national tournaments, where we consistently perform very well. We have a large number of teams and cater for all abilities, from high performance to new and social players. No experience required!

This registration is for term 1. The fee is $35 per term and students who wish to play again in term 4 will need to register and pay again in term 4. Please register separately for term 4 - we will let you know when that registration is open later in the year.

• Season: Terms 1 and 4 (this is for term 1 only)
• Game Day: Juniors - Year 9-10: Wednesdays starting 11 February 2026
• Game Day: Seniors - Year 11-13: Fridays starting 13 February 2026
• Game Day: Premier Seniors - Senior A team: Thursdays starting 5 Feb at Walter Nash (NOTE: New Senior A playing day and venue)
• Times: Games are at 4.00pm, 5.00pm or 6.00pm
• Venue(s): The Senior A games will be played at Walter Nash in 2026, and Junior A teams play at schools in the Wellington region; all other teams play at schools in the Hutt Valley
• Uniform: Juniors: PE kit and sneakers
• Uniform: Seniors: SHC volleyball tops provided, players' own black shorts and sneakers
• Ability: Novice to experienced players 
• Fee: $35 for Term 1 ONLY
  

Have a Go Sessions: Students who are new to volleyball are encouraged to attend a "Have a Go" session and the Boot Camp. We will put the times in the school notices early in Term 1.

Social teams of friends: We encourage groups of friends to form social teams, please let us know who will be in your team. Teams need a minimum of 10 students and a parent manager is required. Please bring your list to the sports office. Students in social teams still need to register and pay to play. (Insert form here)

• Senior Trial #1 - Saturday 31 January 2.30pm - 4.30pm
• Senior Trial #2 - Wednesday 4 February 5.00pm -7.00pm

Junior Trial Dates (all trials will be held in the Sacred Heart Gym):

• Junior preseason (all yr 9 & 10's):    Saturday 31 January        12.00pm - 2.00pm
• Junior Trial #1 (Year 9 only):             Tuesday 3 February           3.30pm - 6.00pm
• Junior Trial #2 (Year 10 only):           Wednesday 4 February      3.00pm - 5.00pm
• Junior Trial #3 (Year 9 Group 1):       Thursday 5 February          3.30pm - 5.00pm
• Junior Trial #4 (Year 9 Group 2):       Thursday 5 February          5.00pm - 6.30pm

NOTE: Appropriate school behaviour and attendance standards are a requirement for a student to participate in extra-curricular activities.
