Director of Mission (Special Character Position)

We are looking for a (Cl 47) Religious Education teacher , to commence Term 3 2026 or by negotiation . The willingness and ability to take part in Religious instruction appropriate to the Special Character of the School shall be a condition of appointment. The successful applicant will have the ability to take on liturgical and sacramental responsibilities and have experience teaching the Bishops' curriculum up to Year 13. 

The successful applicant will be working with the current Co-HODs in a vibrant and team-orientated Religious Studies department.   Please state other subjects. 

The successful applicant will lead and support the faith, mission, and formation of students and staff, ensuring the Catholic character of the school is lived and expressed across all aspects of school life.  They will actively recognise, respect, and uphold the school's Catholic special character through engagement in the full life of the school, including religious instruction and observances.

Sacred Heart College is looking for volunteer reader / writers to help us support students with class related tests and assessments over several days. 

You will need good handwriting, spelling, and communication skills. Typing ability may also be an advantage. Training would be provided.
