We seek an enthusiastic NZ registered teacher to join our supportive, well-resourced Social Sciences Department as Assistant HOD starting Term 1 2026. The ability to teach Classics, History and Junior Social Studies is required.. 

The applicant will be committed to meeting the needs of diverse learners, have a good understanding of the Social Sciences and Aotearoa New Zealand Histories Curricula and have a passion for teaching. Please state other Social Science subjects.

Job Description

Netball Coordinator

Fixed term part-time (maternity cover)

Do you have a passion for netball and great administrative experience?  This could be the job for you.

We are looking for someone with a passion for netball to coordinate our school netball programme for three terms in 2026.   Applicants will have proven administrative experience, a thorough knowledge of netball and enjoy working with young people.   

This is a fixed term, part time maternity leave position starting 26 January 2026 and finishing 25 September 2026.  Hours of work are 10 hours per week during school term time only for Terms 1, 2 and 3 in 2026.  Days of work to be negotiated.  Travel and some evening and weekend work will be required.

The successful applicant will also be expected to support the ethos and Catholic special character of the school.
