Volleyball

Our Volleyball teams had a great Term 1. There were lots of good games with junior teams reaching finals in the weekly competition, and our Senior A team competing in NZSS Division 1.

Weekly Competition

The following teams reached the finals.  Fantastic results with many new to the game.

Junior

  • Junior Tigers – finalists and winning Hutt Valley Division 1 Grade
  • Sacred Heart Panthers and Sacred Heart Lynx – Panthers winning Kapa Tapu Grade
  • Sacred Heart Leopards – finalists Haukuru Grade

Senior 

  • Senior Lions – winners of Premier 1 for the second year in a row.  Our Senior A Volleyball team had a great game against Whitby Collegiate at Walter Nash.  It was good to see so many supporters at this game.

Summer Tournament

Such a great tournament for our Senior A Lions Volleyball team placing 11th in Division 1.  

An awesome result with 120 girls’ teams entered in this tournament.  This was the last tournament for our Year 13s Prezley Easthope (Captain), Yasmin Holsted-Russo, Meleane Pole’o, Sueanna William Ah Ken and Ashlee Yee.   Thank you for representing our school in Volleyball over the years.
