Highlights included visits to Vaiala Beach Primary School and St Mary's College Vaimoso, where students took part in cultural exchanges, shared performances, and gifted stationery donated by the Sacred Heart College school community.
Time spent in Savai'i gave a true taste of Samoa, including visits to sites connected to Samoan myths and legends, deepening understanding of Samoan history and cultural storytelling. At the end of the stay at Tanu Beach Fales in Manase, the hosts held a vibrant Pō Fiafia, and Sacred Heart College students returned the hospitality by performing for them. Other memorable experiences included travelling on a traditional wooden bus, sleeping in open fales, swimming in the ocean, and playing volleyball.
We thank the staff and parents who supported this trip and look forward to future opportunities to continue this meaningful journey. Fa'afetai, fa'afetai, fa'afetai tele lava.
