O'Shea Shield 2026

Our students showed tremendous commitment and worked incredibly hard. While we did not retain the Shield this year, they achieved a very commendable 6th placing out of 17 schools.

Ngā mihi to the students and whānau who supported us in hosting the event. Our manaakitanga was widely appreciated, and I have received many messages praising our hospitality. Thank you also to the staff, whānau, and friends who came to support the team over the weekend. Your encouragement meant a great deal to our students.

A special thank you to our coaches for the many hours of mahi they gave to prepare the team for competition, and to all those who helped make our hosting possible. Your dedication and support are deeply appreciated.

Congratulations to St Catherine's College, Wellington, on winning the O'Shea Shield this year. Their performances were polished, thoughtful, and of an exceptionally high standard.

We are already looking forward to travelling to Nelson and Garin College for O'Shea Shield 2027.
